Suboxone and naltrexone therapies are provided as medication-assisted treatments for substance abuse. Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. This combination helps treat addiction by slowly weaning the individual off from their pre-existing addiction while minimizing the withdrawal symptoms. Naltrexone Therapy is used to help reduce the cravings for the drug; thus, helping narcotic dependents who have stopped taking addictive substances to stay drug-free. With this said, individuals need to be clear from opioids for at least seven to ten days before starting their Naltrexone Therapy sessions.
