Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine which is a partial opioid agonist and naloxone which is an opioid antagonist. With these drugs combined, the individual will slowly and easily get weaned from the substance that they are addicted to while minimizing withdrawal symptoms – which include irritability, insomnia, mood swings, muscle cramps, vomiting, and more, depending on the client.
